Nowadays, one of the most frequent problems we face in our practice
are the consequences of massive weight loss after weight reduction surgery, or any
substantial weight loss. The skin and underlying tissues over-stretches and, lacking
support, hang over the skeleton. The resultant loose , hanging skin will affect the face,
arms, breast, abdomen, back buttocks, and thighs and have to be treated in special way, not just alike the conventional surgery.
Surgical removal of this sagging excess skin and fat will result in a more normal appearance, will improve the shape and tone of the underlying tissues.
The surgical procedures includes FACE LIFT, BREAST LIFT, BRAQUIOPLASTY, (ARMS), TUMMY TUCK, BUTT LIFT, AND THIGH LIFT. Some people will need one or a combination of this procedures but can't be necessarily be done at the same time.
According to the ASPS you are a good candidate for this surgery if your weight loss has stabilized, if you are healthy, with no mayor medical conditions, if you don't smoke, if you have realistic expectations and are committed to leading a healthy lifestyle including proper nutrition and fitness.
Prior to your surgery ( or surgeries) which will be customized and programed according to your needs we will check your general health together with an internist, and series of lab tests.
Remember: this is the final phase after weight loss!
